Praying for my rainbow

Well I'm pregnant again. We used Femerra to make me ovulate and I got pregnant the second month we tried. I am almost nine weeks now. We have already had one ultrasound and did get to see a wart beat. We have another ultrasound on Monday. I had a anxiety attack before the last one because I just kept remembering going into that office and not seeing a baby on that screen anymore. I think it will get easier after I pass my loss milestone, but this week is going to be scary I think. I have really been trying to be easy on myself and have probably been neglecting household stuff j should do but I'm just tired. I'm tired, nauseous and dizzy and add migraines where I can't see anyhog but fuzziness and you have one lazy pregnant woman. Oh well they say it gets better in second tri, hopefully we make it there.
In other news we sold out house. Our first home we bought together for our family is sold. It wa actually a really good thing. A lady came along and offered us cash for it and is letting us rent from her until out closing date, closing date of out new house that is! We are building a house and it should be done in about five weeks. I'm so excited! It's going to be a great start for our family and I'm so glad my husband and I got to pick everything in it. I'm trying to slowly pack everything and try to get everything done, but still not overdo it. It's a hard balance. We still have a month until we move but I just want to pack everything!

Pregnancy loss

Well in staying true to writing about our journey I unfortunately need to write this post. I miss carried this week. One day after coming home from Disneyworld. This has been the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life and hope its a one time thing. I'm heartbroken and am ready for this to be over. I was almost ten weeks, and there is no explanation as to why it happened. All I can say is it did and it sucks. I was in no way prepared for this and had no idea how hard it is emotionally and physically. Luckily I have a amazing husband that has been my rock thru this. I am so grateful that he is my partner in life. This is hard but we will get thru this. Even though this is a horrible event in my life I still can say that I love my life and my family. My daughters amazing and so is my husband. I didn't realize how much the name of my blog would have such a direct meaning of how we have to look at life until this week. We have decided to try to conceive again immediately so the journey continues and we are taking things one day at a time.

Cravings

New cravings I wanted to share. Wild west shrimp from longhorn steakhouse, steak, mashed potatoes and salad. Also really liking popcorn with butter and salt. Mmmm!
In other news our first sonogram for baby #2 is on Monday.we will get a due date and get to see the heartbeat.

Also we have told Lillian about mommy having another baby and that it's in my tummy. She lifts my shirt says "baby" and giggles then says "Waa Waa Waa" while rubbing her eyes which is what she thinks babies say. :)

Melchor baby number two on the way!

We found out two weeks ago that we areexpecting. It was a bit of a shock because I didn't think I was going to be able t get pregnant with out fertility treatments to help me ovulate. I have not had a period since october but I went to the dr a month prior to finding out I'm pregnant and got a negative blood test. I much have conceived like the day after that because I believe I a about five weeks now. I have had one blood test to check the levels of hcg and progesterone. The hcg was doubling like is should, but my progesterone levels were at a 13. My dr says they should be at about 15 so I have been put on supplements that I take at night since they make me feel like I'm drunk! I go back to the dr on Monday to do some more bloodwork and hopefully after that I will get to have a sonogram appointment and and hear/see the heartbeat!

In other news baby girl is amazing she will be two in may and is just a joy to have in my life. I am so blessed to be a stay at home mom to her. I will treasure this time always. She is "talking" now. Not full sentences but she gets her point across. We have started the potty training process and I hope she takes to it soon because two in diapers (possibly both cloth) will be a pain!

On the home front, Shawn is loving his job, so I couldn't ask for more. I am having this battle of wanting to move though. I love our home for what it is. A small two story house, with small rooms and no backyard. Ok so that's the negative way to look at it but that's where I'm at today. I have fallen down these stairs four time since we moved in and I am very nervous being pregnant with our second child and having a almost two year old. Shawn thinks this house is just fine for our needs right now and really isn't up to moving. We will see what happens.
Ok off to make breakfast!

Purging.

I have been following the IHeartOrganizing blog for awhile now. I have been doing her monthly challenges and loving how organized the house is becoming. Her monthly challenge for this month is to purge. I am jumping on this one.
We tried to do this a few months ago and ended up with a ton of stuff for our "garage sale". It all got boxed up and moved to the upstairs guest bedroom so we could get it all organized for that garage sale we were planning. Ya, umm that garage sale never happened and now I have a room full of stuff I do not want anymore. So I am going way above the 30 things in 30 days challenge that Jenn proposed and getting rid of this stuff!
Then its on to starting the process of getting all my decorations and invitations done for Lillians first birthday party that is a month away! Ahh! I can not believe my itty bitty is going to be one!
Ok mission purge is on!

Describe a Favorite Vacation From Your Married Years..

I have decided to randomly find blog topics and share my thoughts on them. I am doing this in hopes that this will turn into something more then a journal. I do not know how it will work, but here goes nothing.
"Describe a favorite vacation from your married years.."
Surprisingly, even though Shawn and I have only married since 2008 we have been able to go on a few really neat trips. We went to padre for out honeymoon. We ended up staying leaving padre and went to sea world in San Antonio. We went on a cruise for out babymoon. I would have to say that I would like to do it again, only next time not pregnant. I would have liked to not have ended up in the ER in the Bahamas. We also went to Disneyworld, which I really want to visit again, not pregnant as well. Out of these there is still one trip that Shawn and I went on together that was better then all of these, our trip to Deleware.
In august 2010, Shawn and I loaded up our then 5 month old baby and started the long journey to Deleware ..... by car. Shawn didn't want to spend the extra money on a plane ticket ( go figure). We actually really enjoyed the road trip and we could not have asked for a better baby. We made it all the way to Kentucky in one day and got the opportunity to stay at my Grandmas house. It was really a treat because I had not been up there in a really long time... and she is a amazing cook.
The next day drove the rest of the way to Deleware. Our mutual best friend, is stationed up there and we wanted to take this opportunity to go see him. He has had alot change in his life and we kind of wanted to get a chance to catch up with him. Anyways, we got to Deleware and met his new (to us) girlfriend. We got in really late so we hit the hay,
The following day we just hung out, recouped and tried to stay away from the car.
Dover is about a hour away from philadelphia, so the next day we took a day trip over there. It wasnt what I expected but we did get some great pictures. We got to eat at both "geno's" and "pat's", two famous philly cheesesteak places. We liked pats. We also got to go see the liberty bell and where the declaration of independence was signed!
The following day we took the two hour drive to have a day in D.C. and can I just say that I love that city. It is so pretty. We got to see the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington monument, the white house (from afar) and the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. It was amazing. We did have a slight problem following "TOM TOM" and ended up walking about 10 blocks in the wrong direction at the end of a very long day, But Dc was my favorite of the trip.
The next day was spent hanging out with our friends and getting to chow down on some yummy food our friends made for us.
Then all of us took at trip to none other the New York City for the weekend! It was really neat... The only downfall of the whole trip..... MY CAMERA GOT LOST WITH ALL MY PICTURES FROM THE ENTIRE WEEK ON IT! Needless to say I was not a happy camper. But we did have a great time. I can now say that I have been there and seen things like times square which is unlike any place I have been in my life. I can say now that I have seen at least in part central park, and the statue of liberty (although we missed the tour to ellis island by 3 minutes) . We saw the empire state building and the famous Swartz toy store. We had a blast and really enjoyed our visit.

Our first family vacation I have to say is my favorite vacation that I have been on in my married years to date. I would like to go back to all of the above places again as most of my pictures should be reshoot (lol) and there is some stuff that I would still like to see. All in all though, it was a great trip filled with moments I will treasure and never forget about.

It has been to long

I need to get back into blogging. I have not been posting and that is just unacceptable. I like to use this as a way to see where I have been. Along time has gone by since my last post and my life is so different. I have a beautiful healthy baby girl and she is now 8 and 1/2 months old!
I am going to try and post a few pictures. Not as many as on facebook lol. But i want to share just a few favorties here.

The one above is a picture of her when she was just a week or so old. She was born on may 6 2010 and was 5 lbs 11 oz. A tiny little thing that had already given Shawn and I a run for our money before she was even born. I spent weeks on bed rest with this little one because of fear of early delivery. I had a few hospital stays, and one Emergency hospital stay while we were on our babymoon in the bahamas. We ended up needing to have her 2 weeks early and had to have a cesarian because of a thing called preclampsia that I was beginning to have. I was terrified, but happily everything worked out just perfectly and my recovery was actually pretty quick.
I will share more pictures in the upcoming posts I am sure as I love taking them!
There have been many changes in our life, and I believe that they are all for the better. Our life has been greatly blessed by the addition of Lillian to our family and I am excited to see what God has in store for us in the future. It will be a fun journey I can assure you as these last 8 months have been. I look forward to sharing about those as we as a family have been taking things... one day at a time.

12 weeks

This is the last week in my first trimester. I cant believe that this is 3rd of the way finished. I have no been keeping up with this as much as I wanted to but oh well. I will get to this when I get to it. We have had some new developments in the last week or so. My BIL's Gf is about 5-6 weeks pregnant. I think it will be interesting and fun to share this experience with someone. She is a few weeks behind me and a few years younger so in a way she feels like my little sister.

Wednesday we have a sonogram that is supposed to analyse the risks of our baby having down syndrome. I am not to worried about that BUT, the doctor did mention that at this sono we might be able to find out the gender. I am so excited to find this out. I really really hope that we are able to find out now as opposed to next month. I will be dissappointed if we cant find out till next month but oh well.

No weight gain, no strecth marks, my belly is starting to harden up which is really exciting :) I am on nausea medication now because i cant keep food down without it. This baby definatly does not like mexican food....which sucks because that is one of the only types of food that I like.
I will post more pictures after the sono on wednesday.

6 weeks!

Sono. Shawn and I went to the doctor for our first sonogram! We got to see and tiny itty bitty embryo that will be the baby! We also saw the heartbeat. There is a little bitty arrow that point to the heartbeat. It looks like nothing in the picture above but seeing it on the sono was just amazing! I have another sonogram at 9 weeks. Im so excited that we have a little bean!

7 weeks - Interesting week

I am so lame at actually keeping up with this weekly but ya. This week has been a little nuts. I was off from work from wednesday on because I got sick. Apparently I caught some sort of flu bug. I went to the doctor and they said that they think I have the flu, and put me on tamiflu because they were worried that if I did have the flu or the dreaded H1N1 I could end up in the hospital before the test results even came back to let me know if I had the flu. He also said that I could have some crazy long word that basically amounts to a bladder infection that has moved to my kidneys that could be causing me fever. The doctor also said it could be both so he gave me tamiflu for the flu and amoxicilin for the infection. It was really scary because I dont have a normal family doctor so I didnt really know this doctor and did not feel very confident in him. I called my OBGYN for a second opinion and he said that it was ok for me to take the medicine and to stay out of the general public....in case I was contagious. I have been getting these little spouts of nauseousness...which really suck, but no m/s sickness yet.

How far along: 7 weeks and 3 days

Food cravings: Ramen soup...could be from the flu.

What I am looking foreard to: Oct14th sono. I am looking forward to hearing the doctor say thet despite fears of the flu and swine flu and kidney infections and bleeding, that all is well and baby is good. I really hope to hear the heartbeat too.

Milestone: Seeing heartbeat last week.

"Baby is the about the size of a blueberry. Average embryo: .51 in. Baby's brain-- both hemisoheres!-- is growing fast, generating about 100 new cells every minute. Arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place. " -- the bump.com

update

Ok I am trying my best to remember to update this thing so I can go back and remember what was going on throught this journey...but I have not started out very well.

I am now 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I went to the doctor yesterday morning and had another hormone leverl screening. The nurse called in the afternoon and said everything looked "Bueno". She knows I am still very nervous, so she booked a placement appt for us.

The placement appt is a sonogram that they do to make sure the baby is where it is supposed to me. Ya ya whatever. What it means to me is that on Septemeber 28th at 8:30 I will get to see our baby! Im so excited. Shawn is excited, but I dont think he will realy be as excited as I am until we see the heartbeat and our little seasame seed starts looking like a human baby instead of a tadpole.

Whatever it is pretty dang exciting.

How far along: 4 weeks and 5 days

Total weight gain: Im not sure yet.. I acutally think I have gained some..I will have to check

How much does baby weigh: I dont know yet. First appt Sept 28th

Maternity clothes: Not yet

Stretch marks:nope

Best moment this week: Finding out we are going to have a baby!

Movement: Implantation Cramps for sure that make me look like i have eaten a baby elephant!

Food cravings: Celery... well that was at least until I ate it this morning and now I dont think I will eat it again for awhile... my mouth is doing thing ucky thing where I think I might be sick

Belly button in or out: Of course still a inny

updates updates updates

I havent blogged in a long time. Just been busy. In the last month Shawn has finally graduated his art school! It was realy exciting for me because we will be able to see each other at night.

I have started taking dance classes again. I am in a Hip Hop class on mondays and a cardio hip hop class on tuesdays. It has been great. I havent been able to go every week, but at least it is something. I am not loosing any weight, but I have lost inches, so I know at least it is somewhat working.

Still no baby news! But this month I started taking Femerra. I had a sonogram on friday and Lori said that the medicine was working, I actually have stuff going on, which is a big relief from my last like 60 day cycle! I go back on monday to see if the follicle is developing. It was at a "13" and needs to be at a "20" before it will release and then I ovulate and can get pregnant. I am learning alot about my body, and alot about being patient. I hate it. Well I like the learning part but hate the being patient part so it is a test for me.

Let me think...anything else new. I am still working for the body shop, nothing really new there. I like my hours im working 11-6 still. I also started working for a party company. I have parties in which people can buy wickless candles. I love it, I just wish I had a few more parties! Its all good though becuase I am making a about 200 a month from it, which is a good hobby to have.

Katie and her friend are coming next week for a week and a half! Man pray for me. Two teenagers at mi casa Lord Help me. My mom and her husband are going on a trip to see his family. She has never meet his family and they have never gone on a trip just them. So Katie and a friend will be staying with me. In two weeks, we will be going to the beach! YAY! My mom, her husband, sister, aunt, cousin and I will be going thursday- monday to the beach! I am so excited because the beach trip we took at the beginning of the summer was fun, but kinda lame. The people that came with me dont really like the beach! It was ridiculous we did leave here till late and ended up only spending like 2 hours total at the beach. Seriously... 400 dollars for 2 hours at the beach does not end up being very great for me.

Kristen is on her way here from Denton (yes she stayed there) and we are going to hang out all afternoon! yay for besties. I think we are going to go see "the ugly truth" possibly or maybe go to target and smell laundry detergent (yes this is a inside joke). The point being that no matter what we do we will have a good time.
I am off to get ready for the day, chores...cleaning up dog hair from my way to full house of dogs, laundry and dishes before bestie gets here!

blog blog blog

I am not doing a very good time at keeping up with this business but so here is the newness. We went to the doctor for our follow up. I had the hsg done a few weeks ago and it hurt, but not as much as I thought it was going to. They had to the the test twice....which sucked! I had to go to the doctor the next day because I was really sore. But everything looked alot better. DH and I went to the doctor yesterday morning and I had another sonogram done to check on the cyst. GOOD NEWS:::: no more cyst and everything looks good for babymaking!

Tomorrow I meet with a woman from over the top quilting here in austin. I am really looking forward to this because I think she is going to be the one who makes my quilt. I am wanting to have it made from the dresses that were worn in my wedding. My wedding dress, flower girl dress, and a few of my bridesmaids dresses. I am also wanting there to be stips of the signature of my wedding guests. I cant wait to start on this project!!!!

Also tomorrow I have my first scentsy party! I am very excited about it!!!!!!

Second opinion

I just needed to get this out somewhere. I am a little freaked out and my DH doesnt really understand things about my body sometimes. So i went to the dr today because I am CD60+ and the doctor I was seeing had prescribed me provera and clomid over the phone. I just did not feel comfortable with this not being explained to me. I was trying to do the whole wait a year thing because I have heard that is what you are supposed to do. Well I went to my sisters dr (who is really helpful) today and they found two cysts. He said that it could be endrometriosis (sp?) or hemmoratic. He did a complete work up of my blood today (which i had asked two months ago from my normal doctor, who just did a thyroid test) and booked a appointment for a follow up sonogram in 4 weeks. If the cyst has not gone away by itself then he is actually going to go in and remove it because it is like the size of a silver dollar! He wants me to (i my period starts naturally within four weeks) go and get tested to see if my filopion tubes are open...he said it is painful (DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS? I am freaked out and kind of really pissed at my normal doctor for not doing a follow up sono after my body regected the iud a year ago. If they had them may have found this by now and I could have already been pregnant! Thanks for reading. :)

Phantom symptoms again

I am on CD50. I can't go thru the night without having to wake up to go the bathroom (very annoying by the way). The smell of things is starting to make me want to hurl. Actually now that I think about it I just have that feeling all the time. I am so freaking tired! Hmm.... I hate phantom symtoms. I really hope that these are the real deal, but am nervous to get my hopes up. I am just hoping it is not Swine Flu! That would totally suck! I realized this morning that this is really kind of turning into a NGPR blog, but really there is nothing GP about me right now unfortunatly! I am hoping though.....

Monday Monday

Mondays always seem to bring craziness where I work. It is the day of the week that we have oh about a gazilion people dropping their vehicles off for us to repair. This lovely monday morning, we happen to be under a tornado and a sever thunderstom watch. Our computer systems are down this morning and it is a little nuts. A few years ago we decided to go paperless. Don't get me wrong I think it is a great thing except for on days like today. Nobody seems to know how to drive when it rains, and so they call us needing their car towed in. Ya, yay for mondays..... :)

a sad break up.

I dont know how to title this one. M&M broke up today. It is really sad for me because they are both of my best friends. I really thought that they could work. I guess know one knows what goes on in your heard except yourself. I wish both of them the best. I hope that they both meet people that are wonderful like they both are. I hope that both do not hurt for long. My heart hurts for them. How hard is it to tell someone that you know loves you that you dont love them? At the same time, how hard is it to wake up to the man you love and think you will spend the rest of your life with telling you that he really doesnt love you? I cant imagine what they are going thru and I am just really sad tonight. I mean I thought one of my best friends was going to be my sister and that we were all going to be one big happy family! And our husbands would be best of friends because they are inseperable and we would just have a good ol time. Such is life. :(

Dr appt

oh ya! I totally forgot to mention my dr appointment the other day. I went in for a preconceptual exam last week. I got a few blood tests done to check my throid and all of that, but no results yet. I am supposed to go back soon after ovulation to get another test done....also maybe a pregnancy test! That would be cool. Ok consider yourself updated.
