This is the last week in my first trimester. I cant believe that this is 3rd of the way finished. I have no been keeping up with this as much as I wanted to but oh well. I will get to this when I get to it. We have had some new developments in the last week or so. My BIL's Gf is about 5-6 weeks pregnant. I think it will be interesting and fun to share this experience with someone. She is a few weeks behind me and a few years younger so in a way she feels like my little sister.
Wednesday we have a sonogram that is supposed to analyse the risks of our baby having down syndrome. I am not to worried about that BUT, the doctor did mention that at this sono we might be able to find out the gender. I am so excited to find this out. I really really hope that we are able to find out now as opposed to next month. I will be dissappointed if we cant find out till next month but oh well.
No weight gain, no strecth marks, my belly is starting to harden up which is really exciting :) I am on nausea medication now because i cant keep food down without it. This baby definatly does not like mexican food....which sucks because that is one of the only types of food that I like.

6 weeks!
Sono. Shawn and I went to the doctor for our first sonogram! We got to see and tiny itty bitty embryo that will be the baby! We also saw the heartbeat. There is a little bitty arrow that point to the heartbeat. It looks like nothing in the picture above but seeing it on the sono was just amazing! I have another sonogram at 9 weeks. Im so excited that we have a little bean!
7 weeks - Interesting week
I am so lame at actually keeping up with this weekly but ya. This week has been a little nuts. I was off from work from wednesday on because I got sick. Apparently I caught some sort of flu bug. I went to the doctor and they said that they think I have the flu, and put me on tamiflu because they were worried that if I did have the flu or the dreaded H1N1 I could end up in the hospital before the test results even came back to let me know if I had the flu. He also said that I could have some crazy long word that basically amounts to a bladder infection that has moved to my kidneys that could be causing me fever. The doctor also said it could be both so he gave me tamiflu for the flu and amoxicilin for the infection. It was really scary because I dont have a normal family doctor so I didnt really know this doctor and did not feel very confident in him. I called my OBGYN for a second opinion and he said that it was ok for me to take the medicine and to stay out of the general public....in case I was contagious. I have been getting these little spouts of nauseousness...which really suck, but no m/s sickness yet.
How far along: 7 weeks and 3 days
Total weight gain: I have actually lost weight...but my weight is shifting. I can feel certain parts of my tummy tighten...its weird!
How much does baby weigh:Not sure yet, but the bump says baby it the size of a blueberry.
Maternity clothes: not yet...but very very soon. My pants dont fit right....like at all!
Stretch marks: Nope not yet
Sleep: Getting better. DH and I are finally figuring out a way for us both to stay comfortable. Of course I am still waking up multiple times during the night to use the restroom.
Best moment of the week: Umm this week hasnt been to great with pregnancy stuff. I have been really nervouse this week. I woke up the morning to find I had some bleeding while I was sleepin. The doctor said that the kind I was having was normal, but I am still a little nervous
Movement: No baby movement yet...the only movement is my food...trying to stay down!
Food cravings: Ramen soup...could be from the flu.
Belly button in or out: Inny
What I miss: Drinks with my sister.
What I am looking foreard to: Oct14th sono. I am looking forward to hearing the doctor say thet despite fears of the flu and swine flu and kidney infections and bleeding, that all is well and baby is good. I really hope to hear the heartbeat too.
Milestone: Seeing heartbeat last week.

update
Ok I am trying my best to remember to update this thing so I can go back and remember what was going on throught this journey...but I have not started out very well.
I am now 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I went to the doctor yesterday morning and had another hormone leverl screening. The nurse called in the afternoon and said everything looked "Bueno". She knows I am still very nervous, so she booked a placement appt for us.
The placement appt is a sonogram that they do to make sure the baby is where it is supposed to me. Ya ya whatever. What it means to me is that on Septemeber 28th at 8:30 I will get to see our baby! Im so excited. Shawn is excited, but I dont think he will realy be as excited as I am until we see the heartbeat and our little seasame seed starts looking like a human baby instead of a tadpole.
Whatever it is pretty dang exciting.

Movement: Implantation Cramps for sure that make me look like i have eaten a baby elephant!
Food cravings: Celery... well that was at least until I ate it this morning and now I dont think I will eat it again for awhile... my mouth is doing thing ucky thing where I think I might be sick

What I miss: Caffeine. I have a really really bad addiction to it and cant go cold turkey.
What I'm looking forward to: Seeing baby on the 28th!

updates updates updates
I havent blogged in a long time. Just been busy. In the last month Shawn has finally graduated his art school! It was realy exciting for me because we will be able to see each other at night.
I have started taking dance classes again. I am in a Hip Hop class on mondays and a cardio hip hop class on tuesdays. It has been great. I havent been able to go every week, but at least it is something. I am not loosing any weight, but I have lost inches, so I know at least it is somewhat working.
Still no baby news! But this month I started taking Femerra. I had a sonogram on friday and Lori said that the medicine was working, I actually have stuff going on, which is a big relief from my last like 60 day cycle! I go back on monday to see if the follicle is developing. It was at a "13" and needs to be at a "20" before it will release and then I ovulate and can get pregnant. I am learning alot about my body, and alot about being patient. I hate it. Well I like the learning part but hate the being patient part so it is a test for me.
Let me think...anything else new. I am still working for the body shop, nothing really new there. I like my hours im working 11-6 still. I also started working for a party company. I have parties in which people can buy wickless candles. I love it, I just wish I had a few more parties! Its all good though becuase I am making a about 200 a month from it, which is a good hobby to have.
Katie and her friend are coming next week for a week and a half! Man pray for me. Two teenagers at mi casa Lord Help me. My mom and her husband are going on a trip to see his family. She has never meet his family and they have never gone on a trip just them. So Katie and a friend will be staying with me. In two weeks, we will be going to the beach! YAY! My mom, her husband, sister, aunt, cousin and I will be going thursday- monday to the beach! I am so excited because the beach trip we took at the beginning of the summer was fun, but kinda lame. The people that came with me dont really like the beach! It was ridiculous we did leave here till late and ended up only spending like 2 hours total at the beach. Seriously... 400 dollars for 2 hours at the beach does not end up being very great for me.
Kristen is on her way here from Denton (yes she stayed there) and we are going to hang out all afternoon! yay for besties. I think we are going to go see "the ugly truth" possibly or maybe go to target and smell laundry detergent (yes this is a inside joke). The point being that no matter what we do we will have a good time.
I am off to get ready for the day, chores...cleaning up dog hair from my way to full house of dogs, laundry and dishes before bestie gets here!

I am not doing a very good time at keeping up with this business but so here is the newness. We went to the doctor for our follow up. I had the hsg done a few weeks ago and it hurt, but not as much as I thought it was going to. They had to the the test twice....which sucked! I had to go to the doctor the next day because I was really sore. But everything looked alot better. DH and I went to the doctor yesterday morning and I had another sonogram done to check on the cyst. GOOD NEWS:::: no more cyst and everything looks good for babymaking!
Tomorrow I meet with a woman from over the top quilting here in austin. I am really looking forward to this because I think she is going to be the one who makes my quilt. I am wanting to have it made from the dresses that were worn in my wedding. My wedding dress, flower girl dress, and a few of my bridesmaids dresses. I am also wanting there to be stips of the signature of my wedding guests. I cant wait to start on this project!!!!
Also tomorrow I have my first scentsy party! I am very excited about it!!!!!!
